• The latest ABS labour force figures were released this morning and they were not good. 228,000 people lost their jobs in May and the unemployment rate rose to 7.2%.
• While this week has seen higher virus numbers in Victoria, Australia has outperformed on the health front and as a result will likely see better economic circumstances than the US or Europe. The government has confirmed that overseas travel will remain restricted until next year.
• The ABS will release preliminary retail figures tomorrow, these are worth watching.
