Celebrating International Day of Rural Women 2026

Hear from amazing women who shine brightly in rural  Australia.

International Day of Rural Women (15 October), puts a spotlight on “Women in rural Australia, and in particular women in farming” and the significant contribution they make.

In 2026 NAB showcases 4 amazing business owners - who shine in rural Australia in their own way.

Hear from: Lisa Jeitz at Pinehills in Esperance, Desley Stockman from Stockman's Eggs on the Atherton Tablelands, Tess and Caitlin Herbert at Gundamain in Central West NSW. Introduced by Alison Blanshard, NAB State Executive.

Between them they cover a real spread of regional life: including grains, eggs, a family feedlot, and the people who work with these businesses every day.
