Welcome to Cotality’s housing market update for September.

Australia’s housing downturn has become more broad-based through winter, with Cotality’s latest Home Value Index showing national home values fell a further 0.9% in August. This was the fifth consecutive month of decline, taking national home values 3.6% below the market peak recorded in March.
