NAB has marked a major climate milestone with the bank’s 200th renewable energy transaction as Australia looks to step up investment in the sector ahead of 2030 targets.

Andrew Smith joined NAB in 2003 and is an experienced structured finance banker. He has more than 20 years of experience in structured finance markets, during which he has covered APAC, Europe and North American loan markets.
He is responsible for leading NAB’s structured lending product origination business serving Corporate and Institutional banking customers globally. The team provides structured lending products to assist real asset and private equity investors buy, build and own large-scale real assets and traditional trading businesses. The loan product portfolio comprises Project and Infrastructure finance, Leveraged and Acquisition Finance, Asset Finance and Leasing, and Property Development Finance.
He is passionate about renewable energy and has been involved in the sector for more than 15 years.
