Lionel is a Director within the Securitisation Originations team. He has 20 years financial markets experience predominantly focused on securitisation with 2 years in commercial legal practice.
At NAB, Lionel has lead a number of innovative transactions including arranging Australia’s first green RMBS and ABS to be certified by the Climate Bond Initiative, covered bond programs and fintech securitisations. He has worked across a wide variety of asset classes including RMBS (prime and non-conforming), autos, consumer finance and trade receivables with geographical experience including Melbourne, Sydney and Hong Kong.
Prior to joining NAB in 2006, spent 4 years within S&P’s Securitisation team based in Melbourne with a secondment in New York. He holds a Bachelor of Law and Commerce from Flinders University in South Australia.
NAB recently sat down with the Clean Energy Finance Corporation to discuss the increased focus on ESG activities for both issuers and investors in the securitisation world and what we can expect next.
