Scott Newitt

Scott Newitt has extensive experience across Banking and Capital Markets having held senior positions in Australia and Asia across Private Wealth, Business Banking, Corporate and Institutional Banking and Global Markets. He has specialized in FICC derivatives, structuring asset and liability hedging solutions, multi-asset investment strategies, equity derivatives, securities lending and treasury management. In his current role within NAB Private Wealth, Scott works closely with other specialists and wholesale investors to provide market and investment insights across cash, equities, fixed income, FX and alternatives. From 2015 to 2023, Scott assumed the position of Head of Derivative Products Group at Scotiabank in the Asia-Pacific DCM Origination team. Before this, he was Head of Asia Corporate FX and Derivative Solutions, Head of Project Finance Hedging and Structured FX, and Regional Director for Corporate Derivatives at National Australia Bank for thirteen years. Scott has received a Master’s Degree from UCLA Anderson Business School and National University of Singapore.
