Stefan is a Director in our Hybrids and Equity Capital Markets Business. Stefan’s financial markets experience extends over 15 years with a focus on ASX Listed Debt Securities as well as Listed Investment Companies and Trusts.

Stefan was born in South Africa and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (including completing a Bachelor of Accounting, Honours at the University of Stellenbosch), prior to his move into banking in 2005. He joined the NAB in 2011 as part of the Wealth distribution team where he focused on investment products. Roles prior include distribution responsibilities at Pinnacle Investment Management and Macquarie Bank. Prior to joining the origination team in 2016, he worked closely with investors and issuers in a Capital Market Sales Specialist role within NAB, at which time he was involved in the execution of a diverse range of transactions, including Qube Subordinated Notes, NEXTDC Notes 2, Centuria Metro REIT and NAB Capital Notes.

Since joining the origination team, Stefan has worked closely with issuers on a variety of OTC and Listed securities, including more recently the Gryphon Capital Income Trust, Australian Unity Mutual Capital Instruments, NAB Wholesale Capital Notes and Clearview Subordinated Notes.
