Over 1 in 3 Australian consumers strongly believe businesses bear responsibility to operate sustainably and almost 1 in 5 SMEs strongly intend to make an investment to improve the sustainability of their business over the next 2 years. 1 in 4 consumers also agree that sustainability has become more important to them and would choose an alternative, more sustainable product, service or brand, if available.
