Over the last 10 years, Australia has enjoyed tremendous growth in its agricultural exports, largely thanks to the Chinese boom and strong demand for high-quality imports from its growing middle class.
Though the Chinese economy is now slowing, it’s still a huge and growing market that presents significant opportunity to Australian businesses. Other parts of Asia are also growing quickly and likely to continue to support Australian export earnings growth.
With that in mind, we examine the last decade in Australian agricultural exports and what’s projected to come.
