NAB’s Wellbeing Index rebounded solidly in the June quarter, after falling to its lowest point in the history of the survey. Pressures remain. But the effort required has eased.

The NAB Australian Wellbeing Index fell in the final quarter of 2023.
Wellbeing is at its lowest point since the onset of COVID. The unemployed, renters & low income earners are among those with the lowest wellbeing. Victoria is lagging other states. Household financial stress is at its highest since mid-2016. 1 in 3 Australians believe they are worse off financially compared to a year ago. Concern over income is at a survey high.
