Overview
Australia’s wellbeing broadly unchanged in Q2. Home ownership now a significant differentiator. Household financial stress up a little, easing for higher income earners but rising sharply for those on lower incomes. Wealth expectations are waning across all income groups. 3 in 10 workers will ask for a pay rise over the next year, 2 in 10 expect one without asking.
