In today’s podcast, NAB Group Chief Economist Alan Oster discusses the following:

• The ABS will release the national accounts figures for Q1 this Wednesday. We expect a small negative but a small positive is possible.
• Either way, the Q1 figures are not a major data point as the biggest coronavirus impacts did not occur until Q2.
• Coming up this week we will release our latest online retail sales data for April and next week our Monthly Business Survey for May. We will be looking keenly at what happens to confidence in the survey.
