• We continue to see very volatile data, sending mixed signals about the health of the Australian economy. Last Friday’s retail sales numbers were very positive, but the labour force data earlier in the week was very concerning.
• Victoria continues to report an elevated number of cases by Australian standards, although cases are low by international standards. We will continue to watch this closely.
